I had set myself a goal to achieve a number of micro habits throughout 2020, however I was stuck in a mindset of “I’ll start next week”. I already had the knowledge and was committed to achieving results, but I needed accountability so that I could stay on track. I’d heard of coaching and contacted Caz to learn more. I found her professionalism and communication was excellent and this really stood out. My initial goals were to catch up on a sleep deficit, eat healthier, ditch energy drinks, start exercising and lose weight. I started working with Caz 8 months ago. Her strategic approach, support and guidance has helped me to gain clarity, shift my mindset, see and feel the benefits of taking small consistent steps and as a result, I’ve gained a greater sense of awareness of how good I feel when I stick to the actions from the plans we create and this drives me to keep progressing forward. I’ve had peaks and troughs along the way and it hasn’t always been easy, so regular check ins has helped me to stay motivated and on trackas we have adjusted the plan as needed to suit my commitments and high workload. I’ve become less focused on numbers and more in tune with how my mind and body feels and what it needs which was a big realisation. Over the past 8 months Caz has helped me to achieve the following; find my “why” and ensure my goals align with my values, increase sleep, reduce energy drink intake (I’ve had no ‘added sugar’ energy drinks in 8 months), I have way more energy, I consistently eat healthier and have significantly reduced my take away and sugary food intake, I’ve become a mindful eater, I now run and work-out regularly, smashed the virtual Stadium Stomp this month and am even going to have a crack at a virtual Spartan Ultra later this week (50km plus 60 sets of bodyweight exercises).  I’ve lost over 13kg, kept it off and plan to continue increasing my strength and fitness while losing more fat.  I try to prioritise journaling and some “me time” and I even went over 6 months without a beer and came to surprising realisation that I actually didn’t even miss them!  I’m not at my goal physique/fitness yet, but I’m far closer, feeling great and confident I’ll get there in time for Summer! Caz will support, guide and cheer you on the whole way and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I was able to express my health concerns and self-insecurities without judgement. I was able to express my feelings, and work with Carolyn to identify specific areas of concern and create realistic action plans to achieve my goals. I learn things about myself. I realised that living a healthy lifestyle is something that I really value. I can now follow the action plan we created, and hopefully achieve this goal of living a healthier lifestyle.

Since I started with you, this habit we’ve been working on has made a huge difference to my energy levels and also kept my mid morning snacking at bay too. I’m down over 5kg since we started and actually have MORE energy now than I did when I was having energy drinks and copious amounts of caffeine for breaky! 40 days without an energy drink and ironically have way more energy now! She matches what personal values you have with your goals, so the sessions are really personalised and structured.
